Welcome to the Bristol North West Foodbank Website. We are a Christian Charity and are affiliated to the Trussell Trust network of over 430 Foodbanks across the UK.
We have been open for 10 years and during that time we have helped more than 47,000 people crisis with the provision of emergency food parcels. A crisis may come in many forms, such as benefit changes, debt, redundancy, ill-health, family break up or just unexpected large bills.
All our clients are referred to us by local care agencies who identify individuals and families in crisis. Anyone in crisis from North West Bristol stretching from Avonmouth to Henbury, Hotwells to Lawrence Weston and areas in between can have access to our Foodbank.
We have four outlets that provide access to food support in Avonmouth, Henbury, Hotwells and Lawrence Weston, In 2019 we moved into our Social Justice Hub in Avonmouth, with the vision of extending our support and providing a more holistic service. The Hub now houses our office and warehouse and our growing services including a Homebank, Free Advice Appointments, Cookery Courses, Dancercise Classes, Support for the Homeless and we will soon be opening our Woodworking Workshop to help tackle Social Isolation. You can be assured of a warm welcome and a listening ear when you visit or contact us.
