The Space4Makers workshop is a relaxed, welcoming, inspiring space where we run informal groups and activities, alongside more structured training programmes.

We aim to help reduce loneliness; strengthen families; engage young people and young adults to develop confidence, aspiration & skills for work.

The Space4Makers workshop was created by extending the side of the Social Justice Hub in Avonmouth. Building works and fit-out were completed during the Autumn 2021, and since then we have begun developing the range of activities that take place in the workshop space.

The workshop is kitted out with a combination table saw, planer & spindle moulder; bandsaw; mitre saw; drill press; lathe; industrial dust extraction system and a 1000 x 600mm cnc laser cutting and engraving system; along with a well stocked supply of hand tools.
